• Can Connecticut's new 'noise cameras' finally make loud cars enforceable? (newstimes.com) — Wethersfield is in the final stages of launching speed and red-light cameras, with plans to add new "noise cameras" next to better enforce its local noise ordinance. The town adopted rules for the devices in 2024, and at least one resident is pushing for quicker action as West Haven moves to activate similar technology along its shoreline. Statewide advocates say interest is growing, even if noise isn't yet a top issue everywhere.
