• East Haven kayaker injured in hit-and-run crash with personal watercraft on Wethersfield Cove (thehour.com) — A woman was seriously injured Friday night when a personal watercraft struck her kayak on Wethersfield Cove and then fled, according to state environmental officials. She was taken to Hartford Hospital in stable condition, and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is actively investigating the hit-and-run crash on this busy Connecticut River offshoot in Wethersfield.
