VERNON, CT - A Wethersfield man was arrested after being clocked at 104 mph on a stretch of Interstate-84 on Thursday morning, state police said. Ryan O'Keefe, 22, of 193 Brimfield Road, Wethersfield, was traveling from Manchester into Vernon in a 2013 Honda accord at 6:35 a.m. when he was snagged by speed enforcement laser equipment doing 104 mph in the high occupancy vehicle lane, state police said. He was charged with the HOV violation, reckless driving and driving while under suspension, state police said.
