Wethersfield Cops: Snowblowers 'Disappearing' Around Town

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Snowblowers are disappearing from homes around Wethersfield, police said.

And there seems to be one "common bond" in the phenomenon — the ones being taken were stored unsecured.

"With that being said, please, please please lock up or secure your snowblowers," police said. "These thefts are crimes of opportunity that are far less likely to occur when the item is secured."
