• CT-owned intersections are getting video detection upgrades. What that means for drivers (courant.com) — Drivers in Wethersfield should expect weekday lane restrictions at Route 3 (Maple Street) at Mill Street and a nearby private drive as the state installs new traffic-detection cameras and radar. Starting Oct. 17 and continuing through 2027, CTDOT will replace in-pavement sensors with above-ground technology designed to reduce delays and improve safety without recording video or issuing tickets.
