18-Year-Old Student Charged with Making Threat at Wilton High School: Police

The 18-year-old student has been charged with a breach of peace and threatening after turning herself into police Friday.

WILTON, CT — A student accused of making a threat at Wilton High School turned herself in to police Friday after a week-long investigation, according to police.

Victoria Flowers, 18, of Wilton was charged with breach of peace in the second degree as well as threatening in the second degree stemming from an alleged threat made at the high school. Officials did not disclose specific details about the threat or when or how it was received.

During the investigation the police department worked closely with the WHS administration to ensure a safe environment for students and staff," said police in a statement."This included the school taking the administrative steps necessary to remove the student from the school as well as the police department showing an increased presence and visibility in the area."

The investigation into the threat began Jan. 26, and announced that a student had been identified in regards to the alleged threat, but added that the student did not pose a danger.

Following the investigation, police say that investigators determined probable cause existed for Flowers' arrest, and completed an arrest warrant application.

Flowers is being held on a $5,000 bond.
