Your daily guide to big events, big stories and more.

- Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps is organizing Community CPR sessions. These one hour classes will be free of charge and open to all members of the community. Only catch is you must be 18 yrs and older and they must be “able-bodied” which means anyone with back injury, bad knees, or other medical conditions that would prevent them from being on their knees performing chest compressions should not attend. The first two events will take place on Wednesday, February 23rd at 7:00pm and the other will be Sunday, February 27 at 1:30pm. Registration is required – we will add classes as we see necessary with enrollment.
- The Wilton Library is looking to hire part-time Network Services Assistants to cover help desk and audio/visual presentations. More information on the positions is available here.
- Another clear, cool day is in store for Wiltonians, with a high of 27 degrees and sunshine scheduled for Friday according to the National Weather Service. The weekend should be partly to mostly cloudy and cool, with a slight chance of snow showers on Sunday.
- Yesterday, we had that featured a new writer for the site, Heather Borden Herve's son, and from Board of Education Chairman Gilmore Bray in response to an earlier message circulated by BOE member Bruce Likly.

In Texas in 2006, U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot and wounded a campanion during a quail hunt.
