A Budding March Madness Star in our Midst

Kaitlyn Prackup, an 8th grader at Our Lady of Fatima School, was a winner in her age bracket at the Western Regional Competition of the 2010 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship, held March 13th at St. Mary's in Ridgefield.  

Earlier, she had advanced through both the district round and the local round, sponsored by OLF Knights of Columbus Council 12698.  Kaitlyn will compete at the state level competition at Xavier High School in Middlebury this Sunday, March 28th.

Since 1972, local Knights of Columbus councils have sponsored the Knights of Columbus International Free Throw Championship for boys and girls between the
ages of 10 and 14.
