Girl Scout Troop 50051 Thanks the Wilton Fire Department

A huge thank you to Lieutenant Tom Cassin and Bill Sampson of the Wilton Fire Department for taking time from their busy schedules on Sunday, October 21st, to visit and teach Wilton Girl Scout Junior Troop 50051 about fire safety and seeing and learning the different features of Fire Engine 1.  "The most important thing we learned was 'Remain Calm' so you can provide all the necessary details to emergency personnel." said Girl Scout Leader, Andrea Klancko.  "Another important thing was to have a specific meeting place a safe distance outside your home where you can meet in case of a fire or other emergency."  As part of the girls' thank you to the Wilton Fire Department they made survival bracelets for the whole department.  The girls were earning their First Aid Badge.
