Board of Selectmen Fill Vacancy
Monday was the last day of the 30-day deadline mandated by state statute to fill the vacancy.

WILTON, CT -- The Board of Selectmen voted 3-1 for Josh Cole (R) to fill the vacant spot on their five-person board Monday night, Good Morning Wilton is reporting.
Cole is a commercial real estate, transactional, and finance attorney, practicing in New York and Connecticut. He has been a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the past three years, and is currently the chairman.
The vote went down to the wire, inasmuch as Monday was the last day of the 30-day deadline mandated by state statute to fill the vacancy.

First selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice (R), and board members Dave Clune (U) and Lori Bufano (R) all voted for Cole. Selectwoman Deborah McFadden (D) cast the lone dissenting vote.
