Builders Beyond Borders Seeks High School Students for Enrollment

Local and International Community Service and Leadership Opportunities for High School Students

Enrollment is now open for high school students to participate in the Builders Beyond Borders (B3) program for the 2015-2016 program year. B3 builds “character, responsibility and leadership by engaging high school students in local and global community service.”

Builders Beyond Borders (B3) is a non-profit organization that engages high school students – representing more than 20 local high schools – in leadership training through local and global community service projects. B3 volunteers serve Fairfield County throughout the school year and travel to a Latin American or Caribbean country in the spring to build needed facilities for deserving communities. During February, March and April 2015, B3 volunteers traveled to five communities throughout Guatemala to build classrooms, hand washing facilities, homes, latrines, improved stoves, and a community center. B3 is a wonderful opportunity for students to make a difference both in Fairfield County and abroad, and connect with like-minded students from local schools.

Enrollment is available on the B3 website at: http://www.buildersbeyondborders.org/student-enrollment.
