Companions & Homemakers to Host Grand Opening for New Office in Westport
Ribbon cutting ceremony to be followed by open house with job opportunities

On Wednesday, July 29th, Companions & Homemakers will host a grand opening at its newest office location in Westport. The event, which is open to the public, will begin at noon at the new location at 16 Ketchum Street in Westport. A Ribbon Cutting ceremony with local elected officials, Westport Chamber of Commerce leadership and Companions & Homemakers staff and clients will take place at 1pm. Staff will be on hand to meet prospective clients and employees, discuss job opportunities and to give tours of the new facility.
Companions & Homemakers has been providing specialized, affordable home care services to clients and their families since 1990, celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. With 11 offices throughout Connecticut, the company is able to serve and provide a high level of support to its staff, caregivers and clients. Each of the locations act as an operation center for a designated area of the state, allowing Companions & Homemakers to deliver personalized care services in the most efficient manner.
The new office in Westport opened on July 6, 2015, in effort to better serve existing clients in Fairfield County. The company had previously operated out of an office in Fairfield, but found Westport to be a better location to recruit staff and clients and to provide care. The Westport office will offer temporary home care services to clients from Shelton to Greenwich, help to expand the current client base and provide job opportunities in the local community.
