Denning Seeks Dem Nomination For New 42nd District House Seat
Former Zoning Board member Keith Denning filed to run for the new 42nd State House District, which includes Wilton.
WILTON, CT — Keith Denning, a Democrat and former member of the Wilton Board of Zoning Appeals, has announced he has filed to run for the new 42nd State House District.
Republican Kim Healy, a member of Wilton's Board of Selectmen, announced her intent to represent the new district last month.
The 42nd House District is the product of last year's redistricting process, and its boundaries will include all of Wilton and parts of New Canaan and Ridgefield. The new political geography will become effective following the November 2022 election.

"I'm a healthcare provider, so I had a front-row seat to how bad the pandemic truly was," Denning said in a statement released Monday. "From being laid off after elective procedures were stopped, to returning to work to care for COVID patients, and having to quarantine away from my grandchildren, I was right there in the worst of it."
