
"Astronomy for Teens and Their Families" is offered by the library from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17. Kevin Manning, astrophysicist and former NASA consultant, uses visuals and hands-on activities to explore the size and scale of the universe, stars and other celestial wonders. Weather permitting, a telescope will be set-up in the courtyard to view the rings of Saturn. For ages 8 – 108. Registration recommended; "space" is limited.
