Local author Jack Cavanaugh will return to the 7-830 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the Brubeck Room to discuss his latest work, "The Gipper: George Gipp, Knute Rockne, and the Dramatic Rise of Notre Dame Football."
The veteran sportswriter's work has appeared in The New York Times. He is the author of "Giants Among Men" and "Tunney," (the latter was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in biography).
Books will be available for purchase and signing and a portion of the proceeds from book sales will benefit the library.
