Let a seasoned college counselor guide and motivate you through the often daunting college admissions process!
Through the use of interest/personality inventories such as the Holland Self-Directed Search and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, students will identify potential college majors and career goals. A list of best-match colleges based on these results and other individualized criteria will be generated. Students will complete the Common Application and compose thoughtful college essays which reflect their true essence. Portfolios/resumes will be developed, time lines for the admissions process established, and many tips provided for putting one's absolute best foot forward.
One year of free, unlimited follow-up/assistance is available for all students who complete the course. Each student will receive Interest Inventories and a copy of the Occupational Outlook Handbook as part of the course. The class meets on Saturdays beginning September 15th-October 27th, 2012 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
