This program is part of the "Connecticut Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge" a community energy savings program made possible by a $4.17 million Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, funded as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The goal for "Wilton Go Green" is to get 10 percent of Wilton residences to reduce energy consumption by 20 percent over the next three years - about 500 households.
