Sara Cella will discuss her "unforgettable" and "eye-opening" volunteer experience at the Gabriel Learning Centre in Nakuru, Kenya, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at in the Upper Meeting Room.
The church announcement states:
Their mission is too provide food, educate and counsel those who are destitute, hungry and illiterate. Among the services offered at The Gabriel Learning Centre are a trade school for women, a nursery school for children, a literacy program for the illiterate, a soccer team for young men and a support system for the entire family. Volunteers interact directly with the families supported by the project.
