'Seasonal Cooking: Pumpkins, Squash'

presents "Seasonal Cooking: Pumpkins and Seasonal Squash," a cooking class for adults, 7-9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, with adventurous home chef Terri Sheridan, as she explores the many uses for pumpkins and the seasonal squash available this time of year "that we see at the farm stands, but don't know what to do with."

Her line-up for the evening will include dishes like pumpkin soup, savory pumpkin ravioli with sage butter, pasta with pumpkin and leek sauce, an unforgettable pumpkin bread and other healthy sides made with produce from Amblers Farm's fall bounty.

Learn how to easily cook and store fresh pumpkin to make pumpkin and squash recipes all winter long.  Beginner to advanced cooks are welcomed.

Enrollment is limited. Early registration is encouraged. The cost is $75 for non-members and $65 for members.

Note: All 2010 memberships expire on Sept. 30. The member price for programs beginning in October, including this course, applies for 2011 members only.
