
In observance of National Trails Day, horticulturist Greg Waters will lead an informative natural history hike from 10am to 1pm on Sunday, June 6. Starting from Rt. 33 in Ridgefield, the hike will follow along the Norwalk River Watershed Trail and continue on trails through the Wilton Land Conservation Trust open space, Woodcock Nature Center, Weir Preserve, Weir Farm National Historic Site and Town of Ridgefield open space.
Hikers should come prepared with sturdy walking shoes and a water bottle.
There is no cost to participate, but walkers must register. To register and obtain directions to the hike's starting point, call 203-544-9829, ext. 11.
