Weir Farm's Connecticut Open House Day takes place from 1-4pm Saturday, June 12, at the national historic site. The event includes the first public opening of the new Artist-in-Residence Studio completed this year. The Weir House is also open and visitors are welcome to view the home as it is undergoing restoration by the National Park Service.
The Weir Farm parking lot will be closed June 12 and all parking will be at the Branchville Elementary School located at 40 Florida Rd. in Ridgefield. A free shuttle bus will run continuously to and from the farm.
