Later Wednesday, Patch received another press release from First Selectman Bill Brennan:

Press Release

10/8/2014

Statement

Subject: State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) Complaint

Having reviewed the complaint filed by Mr. Ruskewich to the SEEC and having discussed it with Town Counsel, the Town of Wilton believes there is no basis to the complaint and that the SEEC will ultimately dismiss it as unfounded. In the meantime, the Town is proceeding with its plans to renovate the Miller Driscoll School in order to meet the State of Connecticut’s critical reimbursement requirements and time schedule. Time is of the essence on this comprehensive school renovation project to insure that our students will have the educational opportunities and learning experience that we feel Wilton parents want for their children.

Bill Brennan

First Selectman
