Haskell Announces Reelection Bid On Twitter
Haskell represents parts of Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport and Wilton.

WILTON, CT — State Sen. Will Haskell (D-26) has announced his bid for reelection on Twitter.
In the tweet posted Jan. 13, Haskell thanked the community for "taking a chance" on him in 2018, and entreats readers to donate to his reelection campaign (see below).
Haskell defeated five-term Republican incumbent in his first bid for office, running on a platform promoting paid family leave and gun control.

The senator, who resides in New Canaan, is a 2018 graduate of Georgetown University. His freshman campaign was endorsed by former U.S. President Barack Obama, and Forbes magazine named him to its "30 Under 30" list of luminaries in 2019. He is the youngest member of the state's General Assembly and serves as chair of the Higher Education & Employment Advancement Committee; vice chair of Government Administration & Elections; and is a member of the Environment, Judiciary, and Transportation Committees.
