The results from Tuesday's primary were delayed as absentee ballots were counted, following a deadline extension given by Gov. Ned Lamont in the wake of last week's tropical storm.

"We all must now turn toward the larger goal of defeating a first-term incumbent Democrat who has not advocated for the taxpayers, homeowners, businesses and municipalities of the seven towns he was elected to represent," Healy posted on her campaign website.
