Lady Warriors Downed by Blue Wave
The Wilton High School Basketball Team loses another hard-fought game and moves to 2-7 on the year.
On Friday night, Darien's shooting shined, and the Warriors couldn't quite keep up, falling to the Blue Wave 47-35.
Liz Calby led Darien with 17 points, and Anna Rae Anderson provided a spark off the bench with 11 points, including three 3 pointers.
Wilton's game showed promise in the first half, but Anderson's 8 points, all from the outside, kept the Wave even. Calby's bucket at the buzzer gave Darien a 19-17 lead at the half.
