Man Arrested for Alleged Jewelry Theft from Wilton Residence

The jewelry was worth approximately $9,000.

A Wilton man was arrested for allegedly stealing jewelry from a Wilton residence.

Brian Lowrie, 25 was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny on May 6.

According to the Wilton Bulletin, Lowrie was completing a court-mandated community service program at Millstone Farm at the time of the theft. The jewelry went missing from a home on the farm and was worth approximately $9,000.

The owner of the home found that Lowrie had sold the stolen jewelry to a pawn shop, the Bulletin reports.

He was held on a $25,000 bond.
