Ellie- Unfortunately no one seems to be able go give us much info on Ellie's background. She lived in a home, indoor only. One of her humans suddenly passed away. The other could not seem to deal with having Ellie around and was threatening to put her out on the street. A friend stepped up to take Ellie before that happened, however she was not able to keep her due to her landlord. SO....Ellie came to us!
We're guessing Ellie to be around five years young. She's as cute as can be! She coexists with the other cats fairly well but might be happiest as an only cat. We think she'll be better able to relax and become a loving lap cat if not worrying about another kitty. She probably would like an adult household, no small kids.
We don't know what Ellie had to go through in her last home, but we think there was a whole lot of stress involved. Let's find this sweet little girl a home where she will be loved and pampered the way she deserves to be! She is up to date on vaccines and FIV/Felv neg. and waiting to meet you! Animals In Distress is a no-kill Cat Shelter located at 238 Danbury Road. We are open on Saturdays 1:00pm - 4:00pm or during the week by appointment.
