Plea Hearing for Wilton Teacher Accused of Sexual Assault Continued
The teacher was scheduled to enter a plea on March 5 but his hearing was continued.

The plea hearing for a Wilton teacher accused of sexually assaulting a teenager has been continued to April 8, the Wilton Bulletin reports.
Timothy TJ Leonard, 37, of Southbury was scheduled on March 5 to enter a plea on the charges against him.

Leonard was found on Feb. 10 in a parked car in a parking lot in Trumbull with a 14-year-old male passenger. Trumbull police learned that the two had allegedly engaged in intimate relations.
He is charged with risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault.

Leonard, who is a seventh grade teacher at Middlebrook School has been suspended from the school with pay.
