Police Charge Wilton Man With Homicide In Death Of Man Found In Garage
Police have charged a Wilton man following their investigation of the death of a man inside his garage on Partrick Lane Tuesday

WILTON, CT — A judge in state Superior Court in Stamford increased the bond of a Wilton man charged with homicide from $1 million to $2 million during his arraignment Wednesday.
Police have charged Sebastian Andrews, 31, with murder following their investigation of the death of a man on Partrick Lane Tuesday.
Andrews was apprehended Wednesday as he emerged from his Indian Hill residence after police had established a perimeter around it. He had been identified by his father, a neighbor of the deceased, who police say witnessed the alleged murder.

Police say that Andrews assaulted Arinzechukwu Ukachukwu, 39, on his property on Partrick Lane. He then dragged the man's body into the detached garage where he appeared to "have succumbed to multiple stab wounds,"according to the arrest warrant.
Officers said Andrews' father called 911 on Tuesday at approximately 11:15 a.m., and identified his son as Ukachukwu's assailant.

Andrews is expected back in court on May 17.
An online fundraiser has been created by friends and family of Ukachukwu to assist his wife and 2-year-old son. As of Mar. 28, $120,722 has been pledge toward the GoFundMe campaign's goal of $150,000.
