Santa Claus To Make Special Appearance At Wilton Holiday Stroll
There's no word yet on any of the reindeer or elves, but Ol' Saint Nick has been confirmed for Dec. 5.
WILTON, CT — The Wilton Chamber of Commerce's annual Holiday Stroll returns on Dec. 5.
The holiday festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. with hot cocoa and a marshmallow roast around a bonfire sponsored by the Wilton Kiwanis Club at Schenck's Island. A menorah lighting, served up with latkes provided by Good Morning Wilton follows at the Town Green.
Strolling carolers and a performance from Wilton’s Conservatory of Dance will follow. The town officially ushers in the Christmas season with a tree lighting ceremony at the Town Green at 5:30 p.m.

Crafts and treats will be available from local non-profit organizations on the Town Green, and gift bags with sweet treats will be provided at the front entrance of the Wilton Library while supplies last. Residents may also purchase an "ornament" from the library's Giving Tree, buy Hanukkah gelt for the Children's Library, and shop for gifts at the library's Holiday Book Sale. Revelers will also have the opportunity to admire the Bakers & Builders Gingerbread – Police Edition entries and cast their vote for the "Community Favorite" prize.
Santa Claus will arrive atop the Wilton Fire Department’s Ladder Truck 5, and residents may visitthe Big Man and receive a special treat at the gazebo starting at 5:45 p.m.

The Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Stroll is made possible through a partnership among the Town of Wilton, Wilton Fire Department, Wilton Volunteers Ambulance Corps, Wilton Kiwanis Club and several retailers and businesses in the Town Center.
