Almost 400 members of the St. Luke’s community attended the school’s 18th State of the School event. The evening program was kicked off by St. Luke’s Head of School Mark Davis, who presented the Edward B. Blakely Distinguished Faculty Award to middle school math teacher Nancy Walsh. The program also included additional presenters: Trustees Board Chair (and Wilton resident) James Andersen, Head of Upper School Liz Perry, history teacher Hunter Martin, and designLab Director Michael Mitchell. Videos were shared, and two students—Liana Seale ‘21 and Emily Stute ‘20—received a standing ovation for their live performance of a song from last year’s all-school musical, The School of Rock. The program was preceded by a reception arranged by the school’s Parents’ Association.
