The Race for Republican Registrar and other State Results

Gardner claims victory in local role; other results from the Connecticut primaries.

In a hard-fought race for Republican Registrar of Voters, incumbent Tina Gardner held off RTC-endorsed Mary Arbisi to retain her role.

The upcoming term will be Gardner's eighth consecutive, and she credited a close network of Wiltonians that came out to show their support despite Arbisi's endorsement. Gardner received 755 votes to Arbisi's 510, about 60 percent of the vote, winning the majority in all three Wilton districts.

The following statewide and CT-4 results reflect the latest figures available from the Secretary of State's office as of 12 a.m., with 85-95% of precincts reporting in each race. Winners are bolded.
