Three Is the Magic Number

WHS Varsity Volleyball spike their way to a straight-sets victory against Harding.

Two teams of Warriors took to their respective fields of battle in Wilton Tuesday but only one came out unscathed.

The Wilton High School Varsity Volleyball team won three straight sets in defeating Harding 27-25, 25-18 and 25-14 (the WHS Varsity Boys Soccer team was not so lucky).  The shaky first set was understandable, given that the team only came together as a whole for the first time yesterday because of various injuries and high school construction infringing on their practice schedule.

"The first set was a little nerve racking but we pulled it out," said Coach Heather Schlitz.  "We've had an abnormally slow start between the construction and injuries...but it was a good first 'w' to get under our belts."
