As announced by Governor Lamont, the State has procured 500,000 at-home test kits which are being made available to municipalities. In addition, the Governor announced he is procuring 1,000,000 at-home test kits to be made available to schools at a future date.

These kits are being distributed to help reduce the acceleration of the spread of the virus. As the number of procured test kits is a fraction of the state’s population, these kits are prioritized for residents who need a test now and can’t find one. This includes those who have a known exposure or are symptomatic, followed by residents who require a test to return to work or to travel.
The Town is holding a drive-thru pickup for test kits at Miller Driscoll School on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or as long as supplies last. There is a limit of up to THREE test kits per vehicle. You must be a Wilton resident to receive a kit. Please have proof of residency available, if requested. If you don’t currently need a kit, we ask that you not attend. If you need a test kit(s) now, we ask that you only request what you currently need.

Vehicles should enter through the Belden Hill Road entrance and follow the directions of the C.E.R.T. volunteers on hand.

In a further effort to reduce the accelerated spread of the virus among town employees, effective 7:00 AM on Wednesday, December 29th and until further notice, a mask is required while inside a municipal building regardless of vaccination status. If you are medically unable to wear a mask, please contact the department you intend to visit to arrange for your entry into the building or for an alternate service delivery method. Before entering the building, you will be required to show proof of exemption. Municipal buildings include Town Hall, the Annex, Police Headquarters, Fire Headquarters, Fire Station 2 and the Comstock building.
