Town of Wilton Unveils New Website

WILTON, CT — The Town has unveiled a new municipal website (www.wiltonct.org) that it hopes will it easier for residents and visitors to find Wilton-related information.

Along with an updated look and feel, the website now includes a "Business Action Center" that provides existing and prospective businesses with access to information on opening a business, zoning regulations, bids, and geographic data.

Access to a new electronic alert system is also available through the site, enabling residents to receive email notifications of town news, employment opportunities and meeting agendas and minutes.

Built upon principles of responsive web design, the new site obviates the need for any additional smartphone app or extra mobile site, according to a news release.

The new Town of Wilton website was built by Massachusetts-based CivicPlus, a specialist in website design and hosting for local governments.
