Wilton Board Of Selectmen Considers Budget Increase

Most of the increase is due to rising medical costs.

WILTON, CT — The Wilton Board of Selectmen is looking at a two percent budget increase. The proposed town budget would be more than $33 million.

The increase is mainly due to rising medical costs along with grants to the library and other nonprofits, according to the Hour.

The medical cost is due to an unusually high amount of high-cost medical cases.
