Wilton Boys Lacrosse Falls To St. Anthony's
Warriors keep it close early before losing to the national power, 14-5

The Wilton boys' lacrosse team kept in close for awhile, but couldn't stay with national power St. Anthony's through four quarters Friday night in Smithtown, New York.
Will Gilmartin scored five goals for the Long Island powerhouse, which handed the Warriors a 14-5 defeat.
Last Saturday, St. Anthony's (6-1) routed four-time defending Connecticut Class L state champion Fairfield Prep, 14-1.

Wilton only trailed 4-3 after the first quarter, but was outscored 10-2 over the final three periods.
Thomas Galante and Mike Grec0 each scored two goals for the Warriors, and John Andrews one. Goaltender Sam Somers recorded 10 saves for the Warriors (2-2).

St. Anthony's began the season as the nation's No. 4-ranked team, according to Inside Lacrosse magazine, and the defending champions of the Catholic High School Athletic Association.
However, the Friars were coming off Tuesday's 14-8 loss to rival Chaminade.
