Wilton Elementary Schools Have Some of the Best Teachers in CT: Report

A new report ranks the top 100 elementary schools with the best teachers in CT. Where did your school rank?

When it comes to analyzing and ranking all facets of education, Niche.com is the leader in the industry and it’s back with its latest list, which includes “2016 Elementary Schools with the Best Teachers in Connecticut.”

The rankings from 1 to 100 are based on “teacher salaries, teacher absenteeism, teacher tenure, student-teacher ratio, the Niche Academics Grade for the school, and the district's Teachers Grade,” according to Niche.com.

Before we get to the full Connecticut list, the top 5 elementary schools with the best teachers nationally, according to Niche.com, are located primarily in New Jersey, which claims the top 4 spots.

In fact, Connecticut’s first entrant is only at No. 88 on the national list, according to Niche.com.

Nationally, the top 5 are: Hartshorn Elementary School in Short Hills, N.J., Deerfield Elementary School, Short Hills, N.J., Glenwood Elementary School, Short Hills, N.J., Wyoming Elementary School, Millburn Township, N.J., and Joseph Estabrook School in Lexington, Mass.
