Wilton FCIAC Playoff Picture

Here is a brief  look-ahead for the Wilton teams heading into the final week of the regular season:

Baseball  (13-3, 12-3) -- The Warriors are tied with Greenwich and Norwalk for second in the FCIAC and looking to host a first-round game in the league playoffs (top four teams play at home in the first round). Final week schedule:  Monday, Ridgefield; Tuesday, at Bullard-Havens (non-league); Wednesday, Bridgeport Central; Friday, at St. Joseph.

Softball (9-8, 7-8) -- The Warriors are tied for 11th in the tightly bunched FCIAC standings, one game out of a playoff spot. Final week schedule:  Monday, at Ridgefield;  Wednesday, at Bridgeport Central; Thursday, St. Joseph.

Boys lacrosse (9-5, 8-3) -- The Warriors are tied for the FCIAC's fifth-best record with Greenwich and Trumbull and will play in the road in the first round of the FCIAC playoffs, probably at New Canaan or Ridgefield. Final week schedule: Tuesday, at Bridgeport Central, Wednesday, at Yorktown, N.Y. (non-league).

Girls lacrosse (9-5-1, 8-3).  -- The Warriors are tied with Fairfield Ludlowe for the FCIAC's fifth-best record and will play on the road in the first round of the league playoffs. Final week schedule:  Tuesday, at Fairfield Warde.

Boys tennis (9-6) -- Currently seventh, the Warriors are in a scramble for one of the FCIAC final two playoff spots with one match remaining. Final week schedule:  Tuesday, Westhill.
