Wilton Gymnasts Bring Home Championship Trophies

With over 300 gymnasts and their respective spectators converging in the gym over 6 sessions, the hours of hard work and preparation paid off with multiple titles and awards.

Overall, Levels 6 and 8 each finished 2nd All Around, Level 3 finished 3rd, and Level 4 finished 4th.

Level 3

For Ages 6-8, Tess D’Andraia scored 9.1 on floor and 9.05 on vault.

For Age 9, Grace Jeanes was the Bronze AA trophy winner, with 9.450 on bars (3rd), 9.4 on floor (3rd) and 9.150 on beam (2nd). Mia Decore scored 9.2 on vault (5th) and 9.150 on bars.

For Age 10a, Alyssa Duarte placed 5th on beam (9.0) and floor (9.250). Lilli Todd placed 2nd on vault (9.4).

For Age 10b, Rowan Morse took home the Silver AA trophy, with 3rd on floor (9.450), and 4th on vault (9.3), bars (9.550) and beam (9.1).

For Age 11, Abby Jones came in 5th place AA, taking 3rd on floor (9.4), 4th on bars (9.6), and scoring 9.0 on vault. Lia Carusone placed 5th on vault (9.250), and earned 9.5 on bars and 9.150 on floor. Guinevere Quigg was 3rd on beam (9.2), and scored 9.1 on floor and 9.050 on vault. Abigail Schmitt was 4th on floor (9.250) and received a 9.2 on vault.

For Age 12, Isabella Cerra earned 9.6 on bars (3rd), 9.050 on vault and 9.150 on beam (4th).

Level 4

For Age 10, Taylor Archambeau placed 3rd on vault (9.2), 2nd on bars (9.6), and scored 9.250 on floor. Cailyn Cruickshank placed 5th on beam (9.350) and scored 9.450 on floor.

For Age 11, Lauren Condon was 4th on beam (9.1) and floor (9.150) and placed 5th AA. Kaelyn Talisse came in 2nd on beam (9.3) and 5th on vault and floor.

For Age 12, Elizabeth Fahey took home the 3rd AA trophy, winning the titles of vault champion (9.3) and floor champion (9.350), and scoring 9.0 on bars. Sofia Vitti finished 5th AA, placing 3rd on vault (9.1), bars (9.2) and floor (9.150). Jennifer Von Bartheld came in 4th on bars and floor with 9.150 on both events. Ella Mancuso received a 9.060 on bars and placed 4th on beam (9.150). Ella Arghirescu placed 4th on vault (9.050) and 5th on bars (9.1). Emma Incao placed 5th on beam with 9.1.

For Ages 13+, Nina Ferrucci finished 5th AA, with 4th on beam (9.050) and vault. Simona Gheorghe scored 9.250 on bars (4th) and 9.050 on beam (5th). Madeline Mosquera was the beam champion (9.350) and 3rd on floor.

Level 5

For Ages 9-10, Alyssa Mariani placed 4th AA, winning the title of floor champion (9.5) and placing 2nd on vault, 3rd on beam and 5th on bars.

For Ages 13+, Samantha Bauer took 3rd on floor (9.250) and 5th on vault.

Level 6

For Ages 9-11, Ashley Umhoefer took home the 1stplace AA trophy, winning 1st on floor with a jaw dropping 9.850, 1st on bars (9.050), and 2nd on both vault and beam (9.5).

For Ages 12-13, Alyson Scheurkogel came in 3rdAA, placing 3rd on beam (9.3) and floor (9.650) and 4th on vault (9.1) and bars. Donna Stepnowsky earned an impressive 9.750 on floor (2nd) and 9.050 on beam. Kaylie Berghaus earned 9.5 on floor, 9.0 on beam and came in 5th on bars. Sofia Blessing scored 9.5 on floor. Alyssa Smeriglio received 9.550 on floor, and Grace Condon was 4thon floor with 9.650.

For Ages 14+, Ava Walker won the Gold AA trophy, with 1st on floor (9.6) and beam (9.3), 2nd on vault (9.0) and 3rd on bars. Michaela Kane was 3rd AA and the bars champion (9.050), 2nd on floor (9.6), 4th on vault and 5th on beam.

Level 7

For Ages 14-15, Isabella Jureller scored 9.4 on floor (5th) and 9.0 on vault.

Level 8

For Ages 11-13, Olivia Mannino scored 9.6 on floor (5th) and 9.0 on beam, and was 5th on bars. Mia Karlehag was floor champion with an incredible 9.80, and was 2nd on vault.

For Ages 14-15, Emma Daugherty was crowned AA champion, with 1st on floor (9.5) and vault, 2ndon beam and 3rd on bars.

For Ages 16+, Kate Ginsburg was 2nd AA with 1ston beam (9.250), floor (9.650) and vault, and 2ndon bars.
