Wilton Hoping To Slide Into FCIAC Softball Tournament

Warriors, however, need help to make the tournament.

The race for the final two spots in the FCIAC softball playoffs is a mess, with seven teams remarkably within two games of each other in the standings.

Wilton (8-8)  is still in the mix, but currently on the outside looking in. The Lady Warriors are tied for 10th- the top eight teams make the FCIACs- one game out of a playoff spot.

It's  possible that as many as six teams could finish tied for the final spot, meaning the FCIAC could have to get out the slide rules to see who gets into the playoffs.
