WILTON, CT — The Wilton Library has announced it is taking extraordinary steps to protect against the threat of the new coronavirus.

In an email to patrons, Elaine Tai-Lauria, the library's executive director, advised that their custodial crew is sanitizing public surfaces including doors, handles, railings, and service desks each evening after patrons leave the building. She also said that affixed hand sanitizers are stationed throughout the building for patron and staff use.

Gov. Ned Lamont has urged people to follow the travel guidance from the Centers for Disease Control in light of the continued spread of COVID-19.
