Wilton Taps Ridgefield Finance Chief To Fill CFO Vacancy
The Wilton Board of Selectmen unanimously approved Dawn Norton as combined town and schools chief financial officer.
WILTON, CT — The Town of Wilton has filled a key vacancy.
At its meeting Monday night, the Board of Selectmen unanimously approved Dawn Norton to fill the position of combined town and schools chief financial officer, vacated recently by Anne Kelly-Lenz.
Norton is the current district business manager for Ridgefield Public Schools, a job she has held since 2018. She has also served as New Canaan's CFO.

"Dawn brings both municipal experience and school experience, and private industry experience," First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice praised Norton during the meeting.
Lenz and Norton have worked together before, and the Wilton job is not the first position the women have in common on their resumes, Vanderslice said.

Norton will begin her new job on March 14.
