The lottery will be held at 9 a.m. in the registrars' office at Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road. The election is scheduled for Nov. 5.

Therapy, Play, and Animal Interactions for Children with Special Needs

The Westport Library

TIME 6-8PM, June 4th. “Piece by Piece”&nbsp;is a striking 6-foot-high by 8-foot-wide collaborative installation inspired by an iconic work of American art. The mural was divided into a grid of 48 individual square panels, each reimagined by a different member of the&nbsp;Artists Collective of Westport. Reveal is at 7PM. Without knowing the identity of the original artwork, each artist received only a printout of a single 12” x 12” section and a blank panel on which to create their own interpretation using any medium they chose. The result is a vibrant and often surprising mosaic of styles, perspectives, and artistic voices — a playful yet powerful celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration. As the individual pieces come together, the larger image is gradually revealed, reminding viewers that every contribution plays a role in the creation of something greater than itself.

 The theme of&nbsp;“American Journeys,”&nbsp;the all-member exhibition presented by the&nbsp;Artists Collective of Westport, was inspired by this year’s national commemoration of America’s 250th birthday. The title reflects the idea that there is no single American journey, but rather a tapestry of countless personal paths, experiences, struggles, and triumphs that together define the American story. More than 60 members of the Collective contributed work to the exhibition, offering a rich diversity of artistic expression and interpretation. All works are available for purchase and are on view in the Sheffer and South Galleries at the&nbsp;Westport Library. 
Both exhibits open on June 4 from 6 to 8pm, with the unveiling of Piece by Piece at 7p

UCC Southbury invites the community to join them for the 50th Annual Southbury Strawberry Festival on the spacious Church Green, located at 283 Main Street North, in Southbury, CT, to be held on Saturday, June 6th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (rain or shine).
There will be fresh strawberry shortcakes with homemade whipped cream, live music by Band o’ Brothers, Nick Depuy and Adelaide Punkin, assorted baked goods, grilled foods and Food Trucks including Cousins Maine Lobster and Red Apple Catering with Ben &amp; Jerry’s Ice Cream on hand. Also featuring raffle prizes, Kids Zone bouncy house, games and activities, and 40 different vendors and artisans for interested shoppers. 
We encourage all attendees to take advantage of the FREE PARKING SHUTTLE from 22 Old Waterbury Rd (only 500 yards away).

<a href="https://ridgefieldpride.org/pride-in-the-park/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Ridgefield’s seventh annual Pride in the Park</a> celebration will take place on SATURDAY, JUNE 6 from 12 - 3 pm in Ballard Park, Ridgefield (Rain location: Yanity Gym) with a parade around the park starting at 1pm. &nbsp; Ridgefield Pride in the Park is a free event, open to the public and catering to families, with a variety of activities, crafts, entertainment and informational tables for all ages.&nbsp;&nbsp;



In addition to <a href="https://ridgefieldpride.org/pride-in-the-park/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Pride in the Park</a>, there will be a multitude of celebratory Pride events and Pride Promotions throughout May, June and July with something for everyone, from our tiniest tots to our seniors.
