Wilton Relay For Life Volunteers Needed

The next Planning Committee Meeting will be held for interested community members on Monday, January 8.

From Northeast Region | American Cancer Society, Inc.: The American Cancer Society is seeking local day of volunteers and interested community members to be a part of our Planning Committee for our annual Relay For Life event scheduled for Friday, June 8th. Community volunteers are the backbone of this movement, and you can be part of it right here in Wilton. The Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to save lives from cancer. Uniting communities across the globe, we celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change.

The next Planning Committee Meeting will be held for interested community members on Monday, January 8th starting at 7:00 PM at Trackside Teen Center in Wilton. Please email Grace.Scinto@cancer.org if you are interested in attending.

“Nowhere else can you make the greatest impact in the fight to end cancer than when you volunteer, raise awareness, and funds for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life,” said Grace Scinto, Senior Community Development Manager. “We rely on the support of volunteers to help make the Wilton event a success.”
