WILTON, CT—At Monday’s virtual convention, Wilton resident Kim Healy won the Republican nomination for the 26th State Senate District seat. The 26th State Senate District is comprised of seven Connecticut towns including Redding, Ridgefield, and Wilton and parts of Bethel, New Canaan, Weston and Westport.

Healy accepted the nomination by noting that, “With the right leadership, I am confident we can turn things around and restore hope in Connecticut for the next generation.”

The married mother of four was nominated by the Honorable Judith Freedman, former State Senator from the 26th District, who assured delegates that, “Kim is a highly energized, knowledgeable candidate who will bring a lifetime of experience to the State Senate. I am proud to support her.”
