Olivia Hompe recorded three goals and two assists Friday as New Canaan defeated 6-3 in girls hockey action.
Nicole Lue scored twice and Sammi Blicht once for the Warriors, who dropped to 0-2. Wilton opened its season with an 8-0 loss to Simsbury last week.
