The boys hockey team opened its season with a 3-2 loss to Newtown on Tuesday at the Danbury Ice Arena.
Matt Kobyra scored both goals for Wilton with his second goal giving the Warriors a 2-1 lead early in the third period.

However, Newtown responded by scoring a pair of goals in less than a minute to improve to 1-2.
Wilton is back in action on Monday when its hosts the Milford Co-op team at 6 p.m. at the Winter Garden Arena in Ridgefield.
