The boys basketball team looks to even its record on Thursday when the Warriors take on Bethel in the Trumbull Jamboree (5 p.m.).

The Warriors routed Platt 75-38 on Tuesday for their first win of the season after dropping a pair of games to Fairfield Ludlowe and St. Joseph, the state's top-ranked team.

Eric Houska scored 18 points and Chris Nugent added 15 on Tuesday. Nugent also grabbed seven rebounds and blocked seven shots.
