Thegirls basketball team goes for its third straight win on Tuesday when the Warriors visit Fairfield Warde on Tuesday (7 p.m.).

Wilton (5-2) is coming off an impressive 63-22 victory over Greenwich on Thursday.

Freshman Cori Cannavino led three players in double figures with 12 points

Casey Pearsall scored all 11 of her points in the first half, when the Warriors built a 34-14 halftime lead, and Kelly Brosko added 10.

The win improved Wilton to 5-1 in the FCIAC East, one-half game behind St. Joseph, whose only loss came against the Warriors.

Fairfield Warde is 4-5 after a 65-41 defeat to undefeated Danbury on Friday.

The Wilton boys team (2-4) hosts improved Fairfield Warde (4-3) at 7 p.m. at the Zeoli Field House.

The Warriors are coming off a 49-41 setback at Greenwich on Thursday while the Mustangs put up a good fight before falling to undefeated Danbury 56-49 on Friday.
